My First Day on Constantiam

I was one of the lucky few to join Constantiam. On the 16th of May, 2020, I submitted my whitelist application. I don't remember exactly what it said, but it was probably as cringe and LARP-y as a comment made on a FitMC video by RoarRageRemember:
I'm joining Constantiam solely for one reason: To be a scribe.
To get books and quills and find someone very powerful that can protect me as I make a secret library very far away and act as court scribe.
My code name will be Roar, and my MC name is RoarRageRemember.
I hope I am able to successfully record the soon to be history of Constantiam.
I am a writer already, so my main concern isn't the writing but rather the chance of finding someone to take me in, and the survival of the books.
Hopefully someone can dupe them. Maybe I'll update on this comment. Idk.
Within hours, my whitelist application was approved. These days, it can take several weeks before your whitelist application is approved. I must've caught PhantomCaptain at a good time.
I knew one thing for sure – I had to perform the anarchy rite of passage: escape spawn in vanilla client. As far as first days go, it was fairly mundane for a typical anarchy player. I spawned into a nightmarish hellhole with treacherous cliffs and withers around every corner. After killing myself a couple of times to respawn into a spot that felt easier to navigate out of, I found the corner of an ocean in the Northeast that kept me safe from most withers and made for an easy escape out of the most dangerous parts of spawn.
As far as anarchy spawns go, Constantiam was admittedly pretty easy. As of this writing, the good citizens of Constantiam are working tirelessly to resolve this dire situation. Nevertheless, I made it out of the first 1,000 blocks of spawn. I passed the 2k lava wall, and dove underneath the 3k lava wall. At that point, I was home free – assuming I didn't starve.
Luckily for me, I continued northeast and happened upon a mountain cave with torches lighting up the inside. I decided to investigate and was lucky enough to find a wheat farm with enough crops to make a few loaves of bread to keep me going. Plus, a full suit of iron armor and a couple of tools. All things considered, I had it pretty easy.
I continued traveling northeast. This cardinal direction became a major influence on my initial gameplay, which later posts will describe in more detail. Along the way, I passed some Spawn Infrastructure Guild and Vortex Coalition signs with links to their Discord servers. I joined the Discord server to check things out, and it wasn't to my taste. I immediately left and didn't join any other Constantiam Discord servers for about another week.
And that was my first day on Constantiam! :)
